Provider Taxonomy: Non-Emergency Transportation

The Sunshine Bus program provides transportation service using a mini-bus. Rides are available in the mornings for our seniors residing in Rohnert Park, Cotati, and Penngrove on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for medical appointments, shopping or other personal needs. On Thursday mornings, we go to Santa Rosa for medical, DMV or Social Security only. To schedule a ride, call 707-585-6780 between 9am and Noon, Monday-Friday, at least one day and up to a week in advance. Cost is $7 per round trip for Rohnert Park appointments and $10 for trips to Santa Rosa. There are requirements to participate in the ride program call 707-585-6780 for more information.

Provides free transportation to medical, social service and shopping needs for West County Residents who are ages 60 and over. Services available Monday through Friday. Call to schedule 5 business days on advance.

Provides transportation information and assistance for Native Americans Senior Citizens.

Vintage House’s myRide program provides free rides to seniors who are no longer driving. myRide, an all-volunteer-based program, eliminates the obstacle to transportation that keeps many seniors isolated and shut-in at home, and helps them get out and engage with others in our community. Free rides are available for seniors throughout the Sonoma Valley, from Schellville to Kenwood, and everywhere in between.

Rides are available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm for non-medical needs, such as shopping and appointments, and even to come down to participate in a class or activity at Vintage House.

myRide makes a significant difference in the quality of life for seniors who can no longer drive.
